Hastings Buddhist Centre

This blog wishes to notify you of the appearance of http://hastingsbuddhistcentre.ning.com/
Hopefully that site will develop working groups (with or without my support) which address the challenges of the coming New World Order & the potential role of the Triratna Buddhist Movement in building Social Justice backed by Dharma in India, UK & elsewhere.

Where are the meditation classes in Hastings / St Leonards?

I wrote as follows to the only other person who is known to be in Hastings and involved in the Triratna Buddhist Community to the extent of having had, like me eight years ago, a 'mitra ceremony', formalising my commitment to regular meditation, the five universal Buddhist ethical 'training principles' & that I feel 'at home' in the Triratna Buddhist Community:
Dear Sue,
A local dhammacharini told me of your existence when I enquired about Sangha in Hastings. Long-term (as I'm moving to Hastings next month and would like to stay 15 years or so) I'd like to be part of getting a centre set up.
Do tell me more about Buddhist activity in Hastings please; I only know so far of meditation sessions at the Southwater centre, where I happen to be renting office space.
Perhaps you'll be a facebook friend (if you do that sort of thing?); or meet up for coffee (if you do that sort of thing?).

With metta
